Happy Lucky ’13!
I hope you all had an amazing holiday season. I had a little bit of a roller coaster, and I’ll tell you more about the lows soon, but here are a few of the highs.
Enjoy….
When I was younger my Momma always labeled our Christmas gifts in “code”. One year we were reindeer, once we were the seven dwarfs, etc. It was always really fun to see things under the tree and try to figure out who was who. So this year I brought it back!
So. Much. Fun.
P.S. “Comet” had the largest present, so they naturally all wanted to be that one.
{Lucky Georgie and his new Batcave! Yesss!!
}
♥
The kids always make their Godoarents’ gifts, and this year we even made the gift bags.
♥

Two of my best girls made me awesome things for Christmas! Thanks Beth! Thanks Meghan! MWAH!!
♥

On the way to go sledding at Grama’s house!

Merry Christmas!
♥

The day after Christmas Ginny took her nap early, so while the bigs had quiet time she had Duplo time.
Princess Duplo time. With just Mom.
Score!
♥

I finally had a chance to watch my two Christmas must watch movies.
Two days AFTER Christmas.
{Sigh}
Home Alone and The Muppet Christmas Carol.
I still love them both.
♥
Cute kid with crazy hair, new puffer vest, and awkward “cheese” smile? Yup, it’s George.
♥

My cousin and her adorable family came for an impromptu visit.
There were Pinnacle drinks and girly movies after the children went to bed. {And the husbands fell asleep on the couch.}
Seriously fun.

Quick run to Target for a new planner for Lucky ’13!
Lego Semi Truck under construction.
{Can you say Just. Like. Dad? And Future Enginerd, I mean Engineer? Yes. You can. Total Mini Me of Joe.}

The elixir of life. For reals.

Helen got a new doll from Santa. With long flowing blond hair. And darn it if that doll’s hair wasn’t a complete mess the same day!
{So. Frustrating!}
And Helen really, really, REALLY wanted to take her for show and tell this morning.
REALLY.
So we did a little research. {I love you pinterest.}

And gave Phoebe a hairvention last night Much better!!
I’ll share how I did it soon. So easy, but you need the right tools.
P.S. WHY sell the “hair” doll without the correct brush? WHY?!!!
Anyways, they had matching hair for the day. And it’s Packer day at school.
♥
Finally, every year for the past few years I’ve made a list. 11 things in 2011. 12 things in 2012. I really try to put items on there that I can actually “check” off. Last year I did pretty well.
I’ll share my list of 13 in Lucky ’13 next week.
♥
What about all of you? Do you make resolutions? Goals? Lists? Share!
See you next week!

Great photos! I love the idea of 13 things for 2013. I was just making a list of goals for the year last night myself! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for your sweet comment.
