This past week was fun.
Really fun!
I’ve got the pictures to prove it. Look:
First, on Friday I was featured at one of my favorite blogs for my iphone cases! I love Abbie, she’s a doll, so it was really fun to be featured there.
♥
Then, my new book came so I can start one of my 13 in Lucky ’13 things. So excited to start these…
♥
We visited Menard’s to get the posts for the girls’ headboard, and I can’t wait to show you how it’s all turning out. So excited!
♥
We went on a date night and it was amazing.
Dinner at Basil’s Cafe {go there, it was awesome!}, then a trip to the mall to make some returns and get this awesome hat, then home through town where we followed this sporty Honda.
With MMMBOP on the license plate.
I could not stop laughing.
P.S. Taking a photo of a moving vehicle in front of you while YOUR vehicle is moving and you have leftover hot soup on your lap is tricky. And feels stalkerish. But is totally worth it so that I can share it with you all.
♥
The George man moved up to a booster from a carseat.
He was {and still is!} completely stoked.

♥
I got more snaps and I had the best time sorting and organizing them by color.
{Craft nerd alert.}

♥
It has been DANG cold here! MINUS FOUR and even colder with the windchill on the way to the Y on Tuesday.
See how glamorous I am when I go to teach Strolleraerobics? Super duper glam.
Or not.
♥
My new favorite lunch is a pb sandwich with apple slices on it and a really yummy pumpkin pie smoothie. I’ll share the recipe maybe next week. Maybe.
{Remember, this ain’t a cooking blog.
}
♥
Queen Sassafras is acting her age. Which is not quite 2 and a half.
Nuff said.

♥
And finally, last night I used my first ever Groupon and got a manicure and pedicure. Where it turned out that the stylist and I had a mad amount of mutual friends. It is the weirdest small world sometimes, y’know?
It was so fun.
And now that I’m all fancied up I’m ready to attend the school Sock Hop tonight and then paint the girls’ room after they go to bed.
Rockin’ Friday Night here I come!
{Remember the olden days when we could go out to dinner and a movie or something?
Yeah, me either.
}
See you next week Friends!
♥

Congrats on the feature! I’ve always meant to learn how to knit 2 socks at once. Looks like a great book. Hopping over from InstaFriday.
minus 4?!! I don’t think I could survive in that kind of cold! LOVE your little guys monkey hat – how cute! And knitting two socks at once is just genius. Have fun!
