Hi Friends!
Back for Insta Friday number TWENTY SEVEN.
Twenty Seven?! What?
Cool.
Easy, fast, fun. These are the pictures I snap with my phone and share right away. I love it because it is a mini blog of real life.
Not on Instagram? Come join! I’m limemade if you’d like to keep up in “real time”.
{See how I sound all tech-y there? I know. Weird for me, too. Ahem.}
♥
So Friday night we got our 50′s gear on and headed over to the Sock Hop at school. It was a blast! The kids had a ball dancing and laughing.
Helen entered the hula hoop contest.
She was the first one out.
Oops.
Good thing she’s cute!

She gets it from her mother ’cause when I entered the grown up contest I stunk, too. {Fist bump.}
♥
Then AFTER the sock hop we put the kids to bed and started to paint the girls’ room.
We used to be cool, now we paint after the kids go to bed on a Friday night.
It’s not lame, right?
Whatever. It’s cute. I’ll share some of the fun stuff in there soon!

{FYI it’s Stardust Evening by Valspar. Gorgeous silvery lavender.}
♥
This week was Catholic Schools Week, so the kids got to dress up cute each day. They of course, loved it.
Monday was Jungle Day.

WE visited the Hawaiian jungle. ‘Cause frankly, that is WHAT WE HAD IN THE HOUSE.
♥
I also shared a recipe on the blog. The world did tilt slightly off axis at the thought of my having a recipe or cooking tip, but rest assured, I just threw stuff in the blender. No cooking involved.
♥
I got Ginny this shirt on clearance last weekend. I just had to have it. ‘Cause that’s what we call Girlfriend all the time! {Well, that and Peanut. And Ginny-bean.}
♥
Wednesday we did not have a snow day.
{But dang it, we should have!}
It was terrible out. Rocking the warm gear to pick Georgie up from Preschool.
And almost went in the ditch on the way home.
In suburbia.
I can see school from my house.
Not cool, people.
♥
My sister is moving away today {SNIFF} and she’s been staying with us this week. So yesterday afternoon we chilled and chatted and slurped on Starbucks. It was so nice. {Don’t go little sister! Stay!}
♥
Finally, yes, we do watch Christmas movies in January. Don’t you?
♥
Hey, friends. Thanks for reading.
And commenting.
You know, if you want to.
Cause I love your comments.
Anyone? Bueller?
Have a great weekend!
♥

Your words and pics are the “funnest” thing I do all WEEK! Thanks for sharing Sarah!!!
There’s nothing wrong with watching Christmas movies in January or Februaruy or March… get the picture? Anyhow, it’s not nearly as bad as still having your Christmas Tree up in February – yep, that’s me – tree’s still up! Yikes! My plan is to take it down this weekend – I think it’s probably time…
I do LOVE my tree though.
